For various reasons AudioTong is hibernated now. Thought you may want to know. You can still enjoy
our releases, though. We will let you know once we're back with new ideas and new motivaton. Meanwhile, have a song (below) or follow our sister label,
Mathka -

...or consider ordering Zenial's new record (out on Zoharum label):
Zenial - "Connection Reset By Peer"
We are more than delighted to present these legendary recordings from the mid-80s, realized in the Krakow's Electroacoustic Music Studio by Marek Chołoniewski and Krzysztof Knittel, well-known Polish contemporary composers. They are accompanied here by a group of friends, including Olga Szwajgier, Marek Nędziński and Marcin Krzyżanowski among others. But do not expect "academic" music here. Do not expect absolutely anything. Just let your jaw drop and listen.
Here:
Choloniewski/Knittel: Go-Go Beuys Band
After years of experimenting with electronics, ambient and field recordings, Marcin Dymiter, one of the icons of Polish independent scene, comes back with a new solo CD. It's four songs - but yes, they are songs for guitar and vocal only, bluesy songwriting and drony compositions, a really great one and a must-have for anyone visiting this website.
Listen to it and get it from here.
For your pleasure at the very end of summer we've got too highly conceptual and honestly experimental treasures:
The Limbo Ensemble's "Plebiscitu" - or how to cut out some improv out of improv - or even better: is it still improv? And - the beautiful Mathka release of
Rinus van Alebeek stealing sounds and chasing sonic ghosts at
"Luc Ferrari"s place - a solo? a duo? a trio? or nothing like that at all.. Listen / buy / download / enjoy!
We're having an enormously prolific time now here on AudioTong. Starting off with beautiful free download/cdr release of
Duplant/Chagas/Sait trio, to psychedelic
Fuka Lata, to jazzy and electronic
Jachna/Buhl CD, free-noise-jazz abstractions of
DM&P, finally to a compilation of what's
best in Krakow these days, we're happy to say that we can recommend each of those releases and warn you that more is still to come!
Long awaited debut CD from Ukrainian composer, sound artist and curator, currently living in Krakow, Poland. Four pieces recorded between 2008 and 2010 with the use of electronics, vocals and... chaos theory. Great music for all those who can appreciate it. Out now on
MATHKA label and from
AudioTong catalogue.
