RATIONAL DIET
- The Shameless
[tng1012] |
The release is offline now. Some tracks from this album will be available on CD. More details soon.
This album is absolutely different from what we have released earlier on AudioTong. No laptops,
no electronic processing, in fact - no electronics at all.
Instead of these - four musicians, guitars, cello, violin, bassoon, saxophones and accordion.
And the voices interpretating the texts by russian avant-garde and futurist poets Daniil Charms and
Alexei Kruchenykh.
The music itself is a perfect illustration for these texts' mood and style. If you insist on describing its
by genre, than you can call it "improvised, chamber, experimental and post-modern".
On the other hand it's amazingly positive, energetic, detailed and... humorous music. But it's much better
if you just listen to it yourself...
Rational Diet come from Belarus and this is their second album after "From the Grey Notebook" self release
in 1999.
